Scared nurse

I can start to say by Oh no I'm not afraid but I'd be lying through my teeth. I don't think there's a one of us that isn't afraid in the healthcare field. We deal with things daily and daily on and on but I can guarantee you one thing the fear of knowing that something could kill you the scares of living and crap out of you. I'm not afraid of death because I know where I'm going but I can say that I'm not ready to leave this earth and no way shape or form. I would love to see my grandkids grow up and I would love to be a part of their lives. But most and foremost I'm not done living yet.I really believe God has a purpose for me being here so I keep fighting. I fought all my life to stay alive. The fear not knowing is what scares me but I can tell you something right now I'm doing everything I can to protect myself.every nurse in his country every doctor in his country ever seen in his country every EVS worker in this country every person that has put their lives on the line day in and day out EMS worker fireman whatever or first responder I work in our butts off to save lives and not become a casualty too. I will tell you this I have never felt the fear and wash my hands and use protection so seriously and my entire life. I'm going to live I'm not done yet sharing Christ with others and I'm not done sharing Jesus with my grandkids. So no I'm not afraid to say that I'm a little scared but I tell you what the scared is what's going to keep us alive by using every precaution known to man and fighting hard to keep ourselves safe God bless us.
