  • Blogging about this will probably be one of the hardest things I've ever done. cuz I'm going to talk about topics that are probably not comfortable for anyone from adults to myself in general. I'll start out with talking about as being a young child and growing up with very dysfunctional lifestyle. My mom was 17 when she had me and had not graduated from high school which was nothing unusual and she was a daughter the oldest daughter of a Pentecostal preacher. My grandmother was a strong woman and she did not in any way shape or form Believe in abortion and she stood on a firm ground that I was not a mistake. she did not condone my mom's behavior but she did not think twice about having me come into the world. My father was a gentleman from Oldtown Maryland and he named Donald Royce Shoemaker. After denying me of course it was proven in court through DNA that he was my father and my mother was awarded a whole dollar a week child support. His mother did spend time with me and there were the older generation of his family back then that knew about me and some that may still do now. I try to reach out to him in my early twenties but he wanted nothing to do with me which broke my heart because I didn't need him for anything other than the fact that I just wanted a meeting but Mr shoemaker your loss is not mine. Not long enough to my first my mother became pregnant with my sister out of wedlock also which ended up with another birth that my grandmother helped take care of and raise. My sister's father basically left the picture also although later on in life he did return. My mom did marry my third sister's father and we did follow him to Biloxi Mississippi where a lot of dysfunction was always going on in the house. I remember my mom working and my sister's dad working when he could and our when he would should i say. later I remember being in a car as she went into a bar and caught him with some woman and ended up in a fist fight out in the parking lot and I remember taking care of my two sisters as this chaos was taking place. So once again she ended up in a house for three kids where she met really across the street that would help watch us while she worked her brother. Later do we find out this charming gentleman was not only a wife beater to the point of a serial wife beater to a child molester. He was downright a monster. The very night that my mom marry him He hit her so hard that he drove her completely from the back door of our trailer clear up underneath the kitchen table. And that was just a downhill spiraling turn into a world of domestic violence physical abuse and later became my demon that he held over my head as he became my predator. I'll stop here for now because now my stomach is turning this is just the beginning of the nightmare that I lived in the house of total fear and abuse.
